Very good location - quiet neighbourhood, close to Old Town, short walk to Hradcany, Mala Strana and Nove Mesto. Very nice and professional hotel personnel. Good breakfasts - smorgasbord. Good relation price to quality. Very suitable for families with children. Small minus - lack of own parking, the nearest one in Kotva a bit expensive.

Very professional, helpful and friendly service at the reception; employees have an excellent knowledge of English language. I would always recommend Hotel Hastal for staying at Prague since it is situated in the city centre, but nonetheless it is a quiet place to spend your vacation.

Although the single room was small, it was clean and everything worked properly. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine.The location could not be better for sightseeing in the old town and Josefov area.

A minor problem due to the very wet weather was pointed out to us and we were offered a bottle of sekt as compensation which we gladly accepted. The customer service at the hotel was first rate.

Generally speaking, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hastal. The staff were friendly and patient with our inability to speak Czech. We very much appreciated Eva arranging for our shuttle transport to the airport on our departure day. The breakfast was more than adequate and the coffee strong as I like it. Our only minor complaints were the beds were too firm and the pillows too soft.

Nous avons été très bien reçus.La personne de l'accueil assure un service formidable.La chambre d'hôtel est spacieuse et la literie est plus que correct. Bref, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ,qui de plus est très bien situé par rapport à la vieille ville.

Very friendly staff - the front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were also very friendly, and very kind. the rooms were large and comfortable. The location was perfect - off Old Town Square by about a 5 minute walk, but close enough to all the sights. We will definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you. Your staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start our day before we visited Prague's beautiful sites, so many of which were very close to your hotel. We would recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Prague. The only critcism, a small one, was that we were unable to change the temperature settings which meant that, even though there was a/c, our rooms felt a little warm. Overall, your hotel was a delight.

Hotel Hastal was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Not only does it have excellent location, clean rooms, and a friendly staff, but it is also a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had reservations for 5 nights but when we arrived we learned that our rooms were not available for the first 2 nights due to a broken water pipe. To accommodate us the hotel provided rooms at another excellent hotel (at the same rate), provided a taxi over and back, and generally made the best of a difficult situation. Problems can always arise and Hotel Hastal went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Their service was friendly and courteous and we could not have asked for more. I highly recommend any establishment that shows this much concern for their guests and their well-being. On top of it all, our rooms were charming and comfortable.

Eventhough we do our best some technical problems cannot be foreseen and accidents happen (especially as our hotel is located in a historical building). In this case we tried to find our guests substitute accommodation and compensate their discomfort. Good quality well priced and well situated hote quite close to the centre of The Old Townl. Will definitely come back next time in Prague chairs in honeymoon suite could do with a little upgrading and a small table and two chairs on the balcony would be a nice touch.

The view on the quiet Hastal Square is really charming, especially in a warm summer night that´s why we are planning to install a small seating on the balcony in the Honeymoon Room. Acceuil courtois et professionnel, Hotel très calmes.Chambre agréable (quoi que le mobilier soit un peu vieillot). La vue côté rue vaut le détour. Petit déjeuner parfait.

We were here 4 nights. It is a very nice hotel, close to the old town. We walked everywhere from here except to the castle. The breakfast was good and varied. The only thing lacking in my view is that there was no fresh fruit. The staff is helpful and they speak English. I would recommend it. thank you Rick Steves What a beautiful city!

If you want a hotel in Prague with Old World charm, excellent location, and modest pricing, the Hotel Hastal is the hotel for you. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly wants your stay to be enjoyable. It is five minutes on foot to Old Town Square and another five to Charles Bridge. I liked the old fashioned keys which you turn in at the reception desk when you go out. Breakfasts were expansive. The hotel offers free wi-fi internet, but I found the signal too weak on the 5th floor. I used my computer during breakfast and at any time in the restaurant area. Clean, modern facilities, and, unless you want to be pampered, a great deal on hotels in Prague.

We unfortunately couldn't make our stay in Hotel Hastal due to our flight being cancelled (volcanic ash cloud!). We however received fantastic customer service from the hotel regarding our booking. We look forward to going there when we can re-book our holiday.

Excellent hotel quality/price. Copious and various buffet breakfast "as much as you wish". Nice and helpful people at the reception. Very quiet ,charming and well situated hotel in the centre of the old city which can be visited on foot.I would certainly come back to the same place.

My husband and I loved the Hotel Hastal! The hotel itself was charming. The room was lovely and bright. The bath highly functional with a hot, high pressure shower! Breakfast was extensive with a charming staff and a lovely sunny room. The desk staff were universally polite and helpful. On top of all of that, the Hastal was perfectly located in the center of all the things that Vienna visitors most want to see and all the best eateries. We loved it. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was light and cheerful. The bed mattress is a bit aged, but we slept well. Breakfast was very good, esp. if we came early before the eggs were all gone.

L'hotel est très bien situé dans un quartier calme mais à deux pas de l'activité, shopping, restos...Situé au premier étage, coté rue, la chambre était cependant au calme, très claire ,très propre (surtout la salle de bain, c'est important).Les lits un peu dur mais on aime cela. le personel est très serviable. Très bon plan, on vous le recommande; Juste un petit bémol sur le buffet de petit déj mais notre séjour était super.

We booked 4 rooms at this hotel,3 double & 1 twin. No complaints at all with our stay. Large rooms,comfortable beds,pillows that I wanted to take home with me! We visited in March & the rooms were very warm,just what we needed after walking around in sub-zero temperatures. We would have no hesitation in using this hotel again.Only about a 10 minute walk from the metro station. Less than a 5 minute walk to Old Town Square.Also very close to La Casa Argentinian bar in Dlouha Str.Well worth a visit.

excellent location, most tourist sites are within walking distance, yet quiet neighbourhood. The room is of good size,clean and comfortable.Breakfast is adequate. However the restaurant is expensive though, a very small salad costs about $5.

We found the hotel ideal: a very central location, so that we could discover Prague on foot, set in a charming square opposite a lovely old yellow church that was floodlit at night. Our room was very clean and attractive, and extremely quiet (double windows). The breakfast buffet was good, as was the restaurant on the two occasions we ate there. The staff were very friendly - the whole atmosphere of the hotel was warm and personal, and as it was an old building it had a special charm. I would definitely return there. Excellent value for money!

Rooms were clean and comfortable and certainly what was expected. The staff were all friendly and whilst I was determined to use my limited Czech, could all speak English. The restaurant had a varied menu and the food was of a high quality.

The hotel is very central. We were really pleased with our room that had a great view. The staff were really nice and helpfull. The restaurant and bar served really good food. Only critisism was that the bar shut early but apart from that we would definalty stay there again and recomend the hotel.

It was a really good, quiet and clean hotel, very close to every significant sight with a very friendly staff. If we will ever be able to visit Prague again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
